Coming into hospital can be an unsettling experience.
You have to adapt to new surroundings and routines at a time when
you are probably not feeling one hundred percent. We go to great
lengths to make sure you are as comfortable as possible during your
stay. To this end we provide you with all the conveniences you would
expect, including fresh linen, and bath and hand towels.
What to bring with you;
- If you are staying for more than one day, you will need to
bring your own toiletries, nightwear, slippers and dressing gown.
- If you are taking any tablets or medicine please also bring
these, and hand them to the nurse in charge.
- If you are paying for your treatment through medical
insurance, please bring your Insurance Registration Certificate
and Claim Form. You should ensure that your Claim Form is signed
by your GP if required by your insurance policy.
For
security reasons, we ask that you do not bring any large amounts of
money or valuables into hospital.
The hospitals offer a number of services to help patients feel
more relaxed. These include;
- A newspaper of your choice.
- Visiting hairdressers.
- Open visiting policies. (This means you can receive visitors
whenever you like as long as it does not interfere with your
treatment or recovery).
