| Homeopathy aims to stimulate the bodyâs own
powers of healing. It uses preparations of
substances, often in very small amounts, based on
the concept that "like cures like" ie; the
substance used to promote healing in a sick person
would produce a similar clinical picture if given
to a healthy person ö rather as a tiny amount of
inactivated virus is used in vaccinations to
promote immunity against that infection.
Homeopathy offers a holistic approach and embraces
many aspects of an individual's life, treatment is
therefore very individualistic ö patients with the
same diagnosis may not receive the same
